Legal agreement governing the use of FireRide Rider & Captain applications

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Rider”, or “Captain”) and SoftMaji InfoTech Pvt. Ltd., the owner and operator of the FireRide platform. By accessing or using the FireRide mobile applications or website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. About the FireRide Platform

FireRide is a technology platform that facilitates connections between riders seeking transportation services and independent third-party drivers (“Captains”). FireRide does not own vehicles, employ drivers, or provide transportation services. All rides are offered directly by Captains, who operate independently.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Only one account is permitted per user.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Sharing or misusing login credentials is prohibited.

3. Rider Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate pickup and destination details.
  • Maintain respectful and lawful conduct during rides.
  • Refrain from carrying illegal or prohibited items.
  • Pay all applicable fares and charges.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Captain (Driver Partner) Obligations

Captains operate as independent contractors and not as employees or agents of FireRide.

Legal Compliance
Valid license, vehicle registration, permits, insurance, and certifications.
Professional Conduct
Safe, courteous, and lawful behavior at all times.
Vehicle Safety
Maintain roadworthiness, hygiene, and safety standards.
No Exclusivity
Captains may use other platforms simultaneously.

5. Pricing, Payments & Cancellations

Fares are calculated based on distance, duration, demand, and applicable factors. Estimated fares may vary due to real-world conditions.

  • Cancellation charges may apply.
  • Payments are handled via secure third-party gateways.
  • FireRide is not responsible for banking or gateway failures.

6. Account Deletion & Data Removal

FireRide respects your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your FireRide Rider or Captain account, you may request permanent account deletion at any time.

Account Deletion Request Method:
Send an email from your registered email address to hello@softmaji.in

Please include your registered mobile number and account type (Rider or Captain). Account deletion requests are processed within 7–10 business days after verification.

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Fraud, abuse, harassment, or violence.
  • Using the platform for illegal purposes.
  • Attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt services.
  • Submitting false information or documents.

8. Intellectual Property

All FireRide trademarks, logos, software, and content are the exclusive property of SoftMaji InfoTech Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

FireRide shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of income, data, or business opportunities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Termination & Suspension

FireRide reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
